Opis

Methodology and epistemology of multilevel analysis – opis ciągiem:Multilevel analysis, also known as hierarchical linear modeling, is a methodological approach designed to analyze data that is structured at more than one level, such as individuals nested within groups, students within schools, or employees within organizations. The methodology acknowledges the non-independence of observations within clusters and models the variance at each level, allowing for more accurate estimates of effects both within and between levels. From a methodological standpoint, multilevel analysis enables researchers to account for contextual influences by incorporating variables measured at higher levels of analysis (e.g., group-level or institutional-level factors) alongside individual-level predictors. It provides a framework for partitioning variance, examining cross-level interactions, and distinguishing between fixed and random effects.
