Objectivity in Journalism - Paweł Urbaniak - książka wyd. 2016
Opis
Never before have the most important media in Poland abandoned their objectivity and neutrality in such a clear and pronounced way. This is particularly evident at the level of political discourse and in the strongly defined political sympathies of individual press titles, radio stations, and television channels. Leading journalists openly state that clearly outlined political preferences of media professionals, and making them public, are something appropriate and even necessary.
Paweł Urbaniak’s book is a voice in the discussion on whether such a situation is justified, and it also constitutes the author’s original attempt to describe the concept of “journalistic objectivity,” the pursuit of which is nevertheless inscribed in all journalistic codes of ethics.
