The iF Design Award 2002 represents one of the early editions of the modern, unified iF Design Award format. Between 2000 and 2002, iF International Forum Design GmbH consolidated its previously separate award programs into a single, comprehensive competition. The 2002 edition is therefore part of the first generation of fully integrated iF awards, reflecting a broad and international perspective on contemporary design.
